Episode 1

      Okay, so here's the story for anyone that happens to be interested. It all started, I guess you could say, in the beginning of September. School had just started, and I had just told a guy that had been messing with me for the past couple months to leave me alone. That guy had been using the fact that I liked him a lot to his advantage, and I was tired of being treated like dirt. When I finally told him that I had had enough, he responded abusively and would not stop bothering me in the classes that we had together. In physics, he would take away my seat and try to pull the chair from under me. He was constantly bothering me while I was trying to learn, asking me “What’s wrong?” and “What’d I do?” He bit me, clawed me, pushed me away, and at one time had me silently crying on the floor.

      One day around that time, I was in independent study doing my work for Dr. Kavanagh. At the same time, Dr. K had a physics class with mostly boys in the class. I tried to ignore the ones that were directly behind me, because they were always making trouble and laughing. Since I didn’t really know anyone in that class, I had asked Dr. K nicely if I could go to first lunch, instead of his normal third period lunch. He agreed, so I would just do my work during third lunch. When the bell rang for third lunch, I hovered at my computer facing the windows and was busy reading material for the moons of Jupiter. Suddenly out of nowhere, I felt arms going confidently around my waist in a backwards embrace. My spine straightened as I jumped at the surprise of having someone behind me put their arms around me. I turned my neck so that I could see the person hugging me. I recognized the person, although I had never officially met him. I said, “Hello,” to the man who would be my knight in shining armor.
